What to Expect?

Early Childhood

At KIPP DC, we believe the earliest years of a child's education are the foundation for a lifetime of success. Through a blend of academic excellence, play-based learning, and a focus on social emotional growth, we create environments where our youngest learners can thrive.

Early Childhood includes PreK3, PreK4, and Kindergarten

Elementary

KIPP DC elementary schools are dedicated to creating joyful, rigorous learning environments that prepare students for success in middle school and beyond. By fostering a love of learning, building confidence, and encouraging self-advocacy, our schools empower students to discover and celebrate their unique talents and passions.

Middle School

KIPP DC middle schools provide inclusive, identity-affirming, and engaging learning environments where student voices are elevated, and growth is prioritized. With a strong emphasis on academics and personal development, students thrive in classrooms that celebrate their individuality while preparing them for high school and beyond.

High School

KIPP DC College Prep and Legacy College Prep provide students with the academic skills, confidence, and mindsets needed to thrive in college, careers, and beyond. Through rigorous coursework, diverse electives, and robust extracurricular programs, students are prepared to excel in a competitive world.

KIPP Forward

KIPP Forward is more than just a program—it’s a promise. From the moment KIPPsters finish 8th grade, we stand by their side through high school, college, and into their careers, providing six years of dedicated support and guidance post-high school from our exceptional team of advisors and counselors.
